De Baarsjes is a lively and popular neighborhood in Amsterdam-West. The neighborhood is known for its diversity, cozy cafes, restaurants, and shops. Within a few minutes' walk, you can be in the green Erasmuspark or Rembrandtpark, perfect for relaxation and recreation. The nearby Kinkerstraat and Jan Evertsenstraat offer a wide range of shops and dining options. The public transport connections are excellent with trams 7, 13, and 17, and buses 15, 18, and 247 at the end of the street, and the Ring A-10 is easily accessible by car within a few minutes. It is an ideal location for anyone who wants to enjoy the vibrant city life while also seeking the tranquility of a residential area.
Personal note from the owner:
When I cycle on the bustling Jan Evertsenstraat and pass the characteristic 1920s gate at the corner by Aladdin’s Nut Shop, the calmness greets me, and I know I am home. The neighborhood has a local character. What we also always appreciated was on a sunny afternoon taking two chairs, crossing the street, and having a drink in Erasmuspark. The neighborhood is rapidly developing with new bars, restaurants, bakeries, etc. An apartment and neighborhood that we will look back on with warm feelings (and a bit of nostalgia).
